Echo Lodge is conveniently located along the Trans Kalahari / Kgalagadi road in the Botswana village of Kang, itself situated at the Sekoma - Ghanzi and Kang - Hukuntsi - Tsetseng crossroad. Kang is 380km north-west of Botswana's capital Gaborone.

Tourists and the business community travelling through Kang towards Gaborone, Ghanzi or Namibia, find Echo Lodge the most convenient stopover. Many Government departments use the conference facilities for meetings and seminars. The road to Kang is a 'bitumen' (an all weather road surfacing) product and is accessible to all vehicles.

The restaurant and bar are in the air-conditioned thatched main building. The restaurant seats 100 people and the conference room 80. Meals can be ordered from the 'a la carte' menu and a buffet option is available for large groups or in high season. There is also an outdoor dining area and the curio shop specializes in Basarwa and Bakgalagadi indigenous arts and crafts.

Other facilities include Internet access and same day laundry service. There is a range of business conferencing facilities available on request.

Accommodation at Echo Lodge is in either 3 double or 7 twin chalets located around the lodge. Maximum capacity is 20. En-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, DSTV, a reading table and small closet are standard.

There is an airstrip located on the eastern side of Kang village that runs parallel to the Trans Kalahari / Kgalagadi Highway.
